Does anyone else feel that having the ideas they share on their site connected back to them troublesome at times? I have been pondering on deleting my site recently and am curious to hear what others think.
Is the source of this troublesome feeling due to what your ideas are, or just that it's connected to your identity? Either way, remember: you can always just start over and curate a new fake online identity
@webbersite, I guess both. Yes you are correct, we can do that, but the posts we have already made will probably in some way still be linked to us (either by normal people, corporations or governments).
@colexdev If your believe that everything you've posted until now will be linked back to you IRL, and this is truly a considerable concern of yours, then perhaps it is best to not upload anything at all and scrub your online presence, like you said originally.
Personally, I have blurred the distinction between me IRL and me online, and although sometmes I wonder if doing such was a good decision, I find that the benefit of expressing myself as I am outweighs the potential for what I say online affecting me IRL.
I know that a lot of people don't directly have their sites linked back to their real identities as I (unfortunately) decided to do, but still.
sadly, i totally get it; I feel so paranoid about it tho, because I don't even share much personal info online
it can be prudent to remain silent, but can you do so forever?

+1 for what webbersite said. I have two websites: one public for things i want to share, and one under a pseudonym for sharing without a care
