Fascinating post. I always felt like there was something other wordly about text.

Loved your post! Especially the theological reflection. I would push back on what you said about Chinese typing though, as I would argue that bopomofo and pinyin are clunky methods of input imposed on a logography. I have found that stroke-order input methods to be far more elegant and fitting for Chinese characters. I absolutely loved it when I found it, and it made me almost wish that we wrote in logographies.

> ce părere ai chiar doresc să văd mai multe bloguri în limba română pe neocities. ar trebui să scriu și eu mai des în română lol. apreciez că saitul tău pare mai serios, simt că mulți români au prostul obicei de a trece prea des la shitposting și batjocură > încă învăț franceza ... nicio problemă, baftă!

Great post! I think we need to go back to thinking of the internet as a "place" that you go to consciously visit rather than being omnipresent. I thought it was an accident that this post was related to what I wrote today, but then I was jump scared by a link to my page haha

Really good stuff. And the quote from Psalm 62 is wonderful. I love the defiant Psalm verses.

I think the mentality you describe is a great one to have, and it's one that I try to follow closely myself. Being intentional in my use of the internet is something that I have been increasingly passionate about. It has also made me rethink continuing my notes page and whether it would be beneficial to compile these short pieces of writing into a larger whole, identifying common threads and overarching themes.
