I think making the art creation sustainable for yourself is REALLY important. (I've changed how I'm doing several of my projects to keep the wheels greased.) Definitely draft up some examples and check with us (your fans) but in the end, it's really more important if it's satisfying for you and enjoyable as well. <3

Honestly, you should probably do whichever works best for you. I myself have made countless adjustments to my art, and while there are centainly times I feel like a little something might have been lost, they ultimately paid off if you ask me.
