I think it is not really recommended to host files elsewhere outside of your host

Yeah, for me the most simplest reason is because hosting outside of your neocities would cause slow load time and dead image links if the image hosting website is down. So I think you should drag and drop folders/files or use deploy to neocities
If you do, let me know what host you choose..!
