Had my Adobe CC access revoked today for no reason. I've been getting it through my school and I decided to take some time off, but I'm still considered an active student so I *should* technically still have access to those benefits. Had to email my school's support so hopefully that can get resolved soon bc I use Photoshop a lot, and I do NOT feel like paying Adobe's absurd prices LOL
Gonna have to find a good alternative to their programs once I graduate because DAMN $600+ a year is *insane*. I miss the good old days when Photoshop was a one-time payment..........
finding a good alternative could work. you could also find other ways to keep using it without paying hundreds a year, i hear fmhy.net has some interesting solutions...
@xyllria yeah I've heard good things about Krita, but isn't that moreso used for digital art? I use Procreate for that and Photoshop is kinda my go-to for YT thumbnails and more graphic design oriented stuff. Either way I'll give it a look!
@klea78 oh whoops, didn't see this reply yet! I've heard so much about Gimp that I should really just check it out once and for all haha. I know Photopea is a pretty good browser-based alternative that I've used a few times, I just wish there were a standalone application version too.
I can show you how to get ahold of Adobe stuff easily BUT it might also be worth using GIMP. It's what I use since my needs are simple and I find it to be pretty okay if you don't need anything fancy. I would also have recommended Affinity Studio but they got bought by Canva and seem weird now. Or maybe it's still good idk

or you could YO HO HO 🏴☠️
I've heard Krita is used like photoshop sometimes but Im unsure! Even if i could afford it id like to think I wouldnt
i would suggest to use 'krita' if you draw in raster, or 'gimp' if you more into vector and/or photos
