there are some but i see that most websites from the us dont use the .us domain. more foreign countries use their respective country domain more

fun fact:Family Guy once released a song called "A Family Guy Christmas" in a album called "Swallow My Eggnog" by Kevin and Bean, this same song was used in the 2010 Episode "Road to the North Pole" under the Title "All I Really Want For Christmas"
