I put all my divs and images within a container div which sits within a wrapper div, both of which have a max-height and width property. and use position:absolute to keep things centered for myself. I wish I had a better way of explaining it, but like

got a lot on my plane in regards to art, im designing desktop UIs and icons and stuff for my comic (go read it >83), some app themes for my comic, regular ol' fun art, and entire from-scratch hand-drawn webpages
