YOOOO I was reading your entry on April 7th and the staff at that exhibit being Ojibwe reminded me of this really cool and funny video by this Ojibwe animator showcasing the Ojibwe word for Apple Pie and it's, like, ten times longer syllable wise lol!!

hello! sorry for not posting in a while. no good reason other than i must slowly slipping back into unchecked social media consumption. but i am coming back to neocities! have no fear. i have updated malcriada's closet with new clothing (hats, shoes) and my "currently" page. i am slowly cooking up a new web aesthetic so look forward to that!

i love this! i find lots of new music through youtubers who digitize old vinyl records that never would have made it online otherwise. plus they usually post the whole album too so it's not just a single disembodied song like you talked about

@mazapandust great suggestion! im def gonna hunt for some old vinyls on yt now! i have a growing interest in music from the 20th century so great way to tie both of these interests!!

getting off spotify is so hard at first (especially downloading all that music) but so worth it!! it led me to find more small, local bands. recommendation: if you have any op shops near you, looking through the cds, tapes, and records they have can help you find new (old) music to listen to since there's no algorithm handing it to you anymore

finally debuting malcriada's closet after promising to do it soon lol! i wanted this to look "fancy" before i upload it, but i think thats just gonna take time as i am a novice at coding. as for now, where im at with my skill set, i feel good! im sure with time that section will evolve

big visual update! no new content, but everything looks different. i went for a more simplified style. kinda used wikipedia as inspiration. i was gonna make this big flashy website, but i got burnt out and stopped uploading. im glad i went this more simple style this time.
some things: my website is a frame site now, so its best you open my entire website instead of just the page; also added an update log; also retired the neighborhood page (for now). believe that is all. bye!!
