your review really made me want to read this book, i'm gonna add it to my list for later! (ps: on an almost unrelated note, the case of pont-saint-esprit led to many conspiraciy theories in france, some even involving the CIA... it's intriguing to see it used as a background for this kind of story!)

The drawings in the background of Fairytales are from a book I recently thrifted, "Prințesa Fluture" by Iulia Hașdeu. When I get to it I'll try to emulate the artsytle!

Second update: tried to fix a background that kept bothering me

ended up updating the backgrounds of multiple pages. Took me a million years to discover a pretty basic html that makes things look neater. Oh well
