hmm. imho you could make it slightly smaller and/or add more widgets/buttons parallel to it, so it's doesn't pull too much focus

Hey, thanks for the credits, happy that my widget helped you! For the placement, to be honest, it's not that bad, I guess it feels weird because the homepage is serving more as a intro to your website than a conventional homepage where you enter the full website.
