I'm replacing the limbo portraits lmaooo how many times am I going to do this... I need to redo the portraits from Haru's room because I'm experimenting with brushes so the difference in portrait set styles might be confusing idk
I'm also drawing these at 1000 by 1000 px rather than 500, and I think it looks a lot nicer :O

also this is just how I am ;u; I run a project where I voice act and I used to voice act for hours on end, publish the content, and then go back two months later an rerecord, re-edit, and redesign everything LMAO perfectionism and hyperfixation what a combo

in fact I spent like 2 hours pacing back and forth practicing accents so I can ask the DM in this dnd campaign I'm in if I can sneakily change accents on occassion (it would work for the character's background!!))

added more to the chat, maybe I should unlink it from the Haru's Room page until it's totally done, there's more I want to do with his PC. Idk if my ideas will matter storywise though! They'll probably just hint at more lore for what's happening, and add character backstory. Came up with some new gameplay ideas I'm looking forward to though!

I'm gonna cry I was working on coloring a new Theo portrait for the "Theo's PC" section exposition, and I was super into it and my ipad died in the middle of me doing shadows ;n; I also spent like two hours on a freakin hand and I just know it's probably funky because *hands*

Finally put some effort into refactoring! I got Limbo cleaned up and removed the switch statements in favor of some basic arrays and some if/elses. Also finally getting to implementing some multiple choice routes yaaaaay! My back is sore from how much I've been at my desk and my sleep schedule has been WILD. Anyway, I need to refactor Haru's room too. I did a tiny bit of drawing for a new Lera page :D

HELLLL yeah I got all of the portraits in Haru's Room cleaned up to match Limbo I feel a lot better about them! And I managed to do it before my ipad died, it was STRUGGLING lmao.
god I drew so many variations of a certain jester (ELEVEN?!) for the Limbo level ;n; it's 3 am but I have taken so many naps that my sleep schedule is whaaack. I have some intro bits laid out to code another conversational scene but with multiple CHOICES! At last!
also gotta say I'm really excited about getting into the stuff beyond the Abyss bc Limbo turned out so fun (so much work for so little, but still...)

I might rework the mySteRioUs figure in Haru's Journal today o____o and think of some ways to make it eerier. I think there's something to be said for simplicity and silence, especially so early on in the game.

it's 3am oop- I got "Lera's Stuff" and "My PC" prepped and I'll be adding a Recycling Bin, txt, and jpg icons tomorrow. Really like where this is going!! If I can't sleep I guess I'll be right back at it shortly
