my latest hot take is a lot of people in fandom cannot tell the difference between kink and paraphilia and that’s why so many genuinely dangerous people are allowed to just run amok doing whatever they want in certain fandom spaces.

my girlfriend sometimes tells me about bluesky goings-on and i increasingly feel like every artist should have a public relations team or something because omfg the amount of people who are clearly desperate for attention but CANNOT handle being public figures 🃏

it’s just incredibly difficult for me to have sympathy for people who act like it’s SOOOO HAARDDDDD to write/draw nonwhite characters. at a certain point youre acting like we’re fucking space aliens and THAT is probably more disrespectful than anything you could create.

i really do not want fanfic as a whole to become the next furry/brony fandom in terms of the people we allow into the community. we have to draw the line somewhere.
i’m going to finally begin putting my fanfiction on this website, some of it edited, some of it not, because there have been things going on for a while now that i can no longer stand by.
