while i obviously can’t understand the transfem experience 1:1, i think the reason i like learning about it so much is because there are elements with which i feel a lot of kinship as a masc-presenting person of color.
im pretty familiar with the feeling that there’s a kind of womanhood that is closed off to me and i have to settle for what i can get, and/or the fear that other women will view me as predatory or invading their spaces for minor (or nonexistent) infractions. to me it really highlights how stupid transmisogyny is. while our experiences are not the same by no means are these concerns alien to me.
