ah fucking hell i just tested it on chrome afnd it seems to be fucked somewhere, actually, what
managed to restore it to a previous date from a codepen, so idk where the code broke, time to go over it piece by piece i guess. oof.
found the error! it was the hover cursor. gotta look into fixing that but for now i've removed it.
