On a car trip today, I’ve heard a song by The Beastie Boys which was purely instrumental (ngl it was the first time I’ve heard it)
scratch that: it seems that they’ve did recorded more than one of those…
Probably from Ill Communication or Hello Nasty. IMO, their two best records. Between the two, I'd say HN by far. Really good instrumentals on that one.
