Guestbook is good if you want to make your site very 1.0. Otherwise, chatbox (or Cbox; what I used) is more of better since people can text there without opening to another tab

a chatbox is better. also, my button is on my index page.

I prefer guestbook because it has pagination whereas in chatbox there is an infinite scrollbar. Fc2 is good if you want a threaded guestbook but otherwise smartgb is popular too.
