It's funny to think that a screenshot of Super Mario Bros is bigger than the actual Super Mario Bros ROM (~8kb) :P
i remember reading something warren robinett (developer of "adventure") wrote about VCS game programming: atari let him have 2 KB but he only needed 1, and anything more than 2 was an extravagance. (ofc RAM cost a lot more back then...)
