I suppose it's cheaper to make a new Hyrule Warriors game than a regular game. And that way, they can write off the story as an AU so they don't have to make it work with the established storyline. :)))

THANK YOU, YES, YOU GET ME. and nintendo doesnt even make the hyrule warriors games :) its koei techmo + team ninja (i believe) :) so youre right its so much easier for them :)))))))
