(out of comments) I think I fixed the margins now; they now should be equal on pages with unlocked navbars on desktop, vertical phones, and horizontal phones. Inexplicably, it seems to be the width being 100% that caused problems, so now it's 99% and that made the equal margins work properly.
Which means that the images on my about for what the navbar looks like are slightly out of date, but it's fine. The important part is what the toggle switches do, and that's intact. (Also, those are now inline-block vs. float so won't dangle below short navbar menus.)
