i will say i would recommend your What Is Communism? redirect to The Principles of Communism by Friedrich Engels rather than The Communist Manifesto as 1. it directly answers the question, 2. the Manifesto was an agitational elaboration, and 3. Lenin discusses in The State and Revolution that we should focus more on praxis than terminology (including literally invoking the question of, "What is Communism?") in c5 s4

the ACP was more of an agents provocateur failed infiltration; they got heavy resistance from the CPUSA and only withdrew about 10% of the members. the CPUSA certainly needs to shift the party line but the ACP is just straight up fascism; like literally class collaborationists
