Neocities.org
Neocities has been good to me. I have found some great sites on here and talked with some lovely people. But does anyone else dislike the metrics? The follower number, view count and likes on updates/posts. One reason I avoid social media is to avoid having a number correlated with my worth. I was just thinking about it recently and was curious on what opinions others had.

It shows every page being updated here because I removed analytics from my site. I posted about it on my updates page.

The links under "June" seem to just point to ".txt", not an actual txt file, they are dead links at the moment.

Good luck on finding a job. I completely understand what you mean about liking not working. I feel the same way after long breaks. I bet you will do great though :)

i don't think the view count is accurate. a lot, a lot of it is bots. im probably not the popular opinion on the site but i enjoy having followers and likes. i think there's a way to turn off the like and follower stuff in ur settings tho
