New piece of writing: Extremities of Space and Time in The Two Towers. This is about the way the the film adaptation of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers uses extreme extents in space and extreme extents in time, and how it contributes to what I see as a preoccupation with stasis and agelessness.
