As soon as you buy a domain name with an email address you instantly get a bunch of SEO cold emails and spam from people with names that are hard to pronounce.

For me this stopped when I removed the mailto link from my website and just put the email so that is has to be copy pasted. I still *ocasionally* get a few but the vast majority stopped.
