alright so ive been trying to figure out how i can create an addition to the praxis page on reclaiming materials and food from dumpster diving - which is difficult, because that has to be done from streetside trash not designated for distribution by a specific company (ergo you can't take from somthing in a parking lot, as that's private property) AND you can't break anything AND you can't open it at ALL if it's got
a lock on it, HOWEVER - there appears to be a slight way around this regulatory nightmare: landfills. while they're becoming increasingly privatized, a lot of them are still public property. if we can figure out which ones are public property, we can entirely legally set up reclamation plans for composting, construction, recycling, and probably in many cases just straight up re-use. ill see what i can do to look into
states' laws on the broad level, but finding *specific landfills* would be an absolute nightmare without broad collective assistance. this could be really fucking good for the communist cause.
