I literally had to be taught how to use VSCode dont even worry about it... Fiddle around. It's a learning curve but it's so worth it. Dont be afraid to change some things! (I hid everything i wasnt using so i didnt get confused)
VSCode has more plugins than there are stars in the sky. It's probably the best, but some of my colleagues like Zed. One whackjob likes Sublime, so we just stick him in the corner and hang donuts from his ears.

i only use discord Rich presence and live server extensions tbh

omg my last comment broke because I wrote part of a code to show an example lmfao
