change of plans pollcode doesn’t work because of some cors thing i don’t have control over so i just went back to strawpoll. i will also be using this post as a shameless plug to say something along the lines of “go vote”

tried switching from strawpoll to pollcode for the polls section. there’s now 4 polls shown at once over there and a new roster. some of them are repeats from before but there’s 1 or 2 new ones. please vote

I tried to vote, but the view and vote buttons don't do anything for me, it could be my Firefox.
i've reached a point where a non-insignificant ammount of stuff i want to put on my site would require use of an javascript api. the problem here is, as far as i'm aware api keys need to be kept private (like in a backend); and i don't think neocities has a backend support even for paid users

i have two options here. admit defeat and go back to the drawing board, or put the keys in the frontend anyways and hope nobody decides to snatch them. also i could self-host and whatnot which would solve the problem but i don't think i could realistically pull that off
