Ideally things should have labels also. The buttons work well but I'd default them to on if you do not label them. IMO it looks better with it on. The font change is a nice touch, it works well.
thanks for the feedback! this site I'm keeping "minimalist", but those two buttons are the only elements with title, so if you hover them the text shows what they are for. Just one last question then since you said you have dyslexia, I read about line height and sans serif helping out, but what about character spacing? do you think increasing it a bit helps too?
