You should listen to The Smiths and watch Peep Show, Spaced and Black Books. Feels like they would fit your style

i have seen black books and i do listen to the smiths :) never seen peep show or spaced, but i'll check them out :)
if you've ever seen the cornetto film trilogy (shaun of the dead, hot fuzz, world's end) and ejoyed them, spaced will be right up your alley. stars the same two actors as the movies and is dirrected by the same guy as the movies too!
