hi ppl!! i’ve been trying to learn how to make my own website after throwing something together using a template before just to get a little bit of hands on experience with how html and css and the likes all work. i don’t learn well by just sitting down and spending 50 hours learning a bunch of stuff I have no need or use for *in that moment*, I learn by Just Doing which is absolutely not Optimal and takes Forever

Imo that's the BEST way to learn. When I was younger I learned by using premade templates and making small tweaks, then even eventually making bigger changes. I didn't fully understand how things worked but I was able to trial-and-error it. You'll get there!
