that itchio game p much wraps it up wrt the videogame stuff ive been doing these past few weeks. got it all out of my system I think, back to my webcomic obsession for the future

I released a new game on itchio! It totally sucks, but it was a fantastic excuse to learn Godot and practice some walk cycle animations. Well, my next one will be better!

academics like to talk about design principals, flow theory, etc., but us game developers know the truth... 90% of game design is endlessly changing numbers around in a js file

released a new game collection. this one did numbers on itchio (for me) but i have no idea if anyone over here is gonna get it lol.
I think im done with all the minor, under the hood changes i was making to my games. Current plan is to release another physical game rulesheet tomorrow ("game" in quotes in this case) and, *hopefully*, get another videogame out the door late next week (it depends on how my progress learning godot ends up going...)--after that, ill be done making games for a while. It'll be full steam ahead on my webcomic!

I rewrote the essay that accompanies this game! I really feel like I was too self-deprecating in the original essay, but I'm not sure this is any better? Anyway, it still doesn't run great in Firefox (It kind of depends on how strong your internet connection is) so who cares.

Uh the essay that accompanies Endless Pickpocketing, I mean. >_> I made a bunch of minor bug fixes to some of my other games while I was doing this, lol

Reorganized a few things in the Games section and the "Best of Lizzie Smithson" section. Mostly just getting everything sorted in terms of the quality I view my own stuff as being, don't worry about it.
