Anybody know any good alternatives to OBS? Preferably free / libre but not required to be. I need a screen recording program that can layer multiple windows and do audio mixing from them for the scene podcast, and OBS still isn't working despite my doing the recommended graphics driver fixes.
Well. XSplit worked. Except that the video got corrupted after 17 minutes. So I'm gonna be uploading it as audio-only. Damn it. Wish that OBS didn't decide to break NVIDIA graphics cards. None of the recommended tips from Reddit (reinstalling, checking my system clock, moving to the last reliable version of the driver) worked.
If there's something physically and/or software side wrong with my graphics card, then there's basically nothing I can do about that. The new versions of the driver definitely don't work with OBS, and the "last reliable version" is still getting the same issue, which was not a thing last time I tried it in October '24.

I guess I'll keep using XSplit and try splitting the videos into multiple segments and hope that avoids the corruption problem?
