Wow, Island of the Blue Dolphins. Totally forgot about that book. I remember skipping school one day when I was maybe 12 or 13 to read it.

I don't even know what jostled my own memory loose @_@ Those old books just hit different, didn't they? I've been toying around with the idea to reread it sometime soon for the nostalgia ^_^
