and, just to be safer even tho i barely update anything aside from barebones.txt on the go, i sync the site files to both my phones with syncthing
and upload thru the neocities cli usually
can ship some lil files or such over to youse over email or w/e if youre curious about any specific inner workings
thank you so much! this is all sort of what I expected and is eerily similar to me! eleventy on an old Chromebook running Linux cli that I ssh into to update, and the whole thing syncthing'd to a couple of other machines. tailscale to make ssh easy when I'm not on my home network. I just couldn't work out if you did updates from your phone or a laptop or what
