It’s a very unique kind of feeling growing up on cyberpunk media and watching it all start happening in your own lifetime, just not the cool parts. We don’t have cyborg limbs, we don’t have flying cars or bikes, we don’t have a functional metaverse. We just have iPhones, ChatGPT, VRChat and the crushing realization that we will wake up the next day with less spending power, agency and freedom than the day prior.

We DO have cyborg limbs, you can 3d print them at home, we DO have flying cars, you can take an air taxi in Dubai since 2020, we DO have flying bikes, again: You can 3d print them with tutorials off youtube, we DO have a functional metaverse: It's called VRChat, but also: See my index.
