I appreciate your inclusion of my button on your site but I should be honest and tell you that I am not a capitalist so if you wish to remove my button I would completely understand

Thank you for saying. I have removed the link from my site (not because you aren't a capitalist), rather I want to make sure you are comfortable with it on. If you are comfortable for me to have the button back, I will gladly do so, as you have an amazing website. Cheers, Ty.

Is it strange that I feel far more connected to people on neocities than I have on social media, despite arguably not interacting with neocities follower as much? Just a thought I had...

I certainly have felt more connected on neocities!! I've been on here for years now, and it has reliably been the place where I've engaged with the most people in the most productive ways. Other social media sites feel a lot more hostile (recent transphobia drama not withstanding)
