i'd pull that goddamn lever, no questions asked

this reads like a goddamned thoughtful folktale. i would not pull the lever, but i would sit and consider it. i think i would only consider it, and lose track of everything else....the joke ending didn't feel like a joke. the story was powerful. call me cringe
