浦沢直樹の『MONSTER』めっちゃ面白いな。心情描写と余韻の使い方が上手すぎる。脇役にもちゃんとストーリーがあるのが良い。漫画なのに小説読んでる感覚。テンマが「カンニングした」と発言するシーンとか、国語の心情説明問題に出そう。

Are there any social media platforms you would recommend for posting illustrations? In Japan, Twitter is used mainly, and Instagram and Pixiv are also popular. I've heard that Twitter isn't as mainstream overseas. Are platforms like Tumblr or DeviantArt more common there??

@marinemrpacoshouse I thought it would be nice to be able to send small gifts to friends I met online overseas, but it seems difficult to do that without revealing our addresses to each other…

Instagram is quite common for art over here! Along with TikTok if you make short form content haha. Only downside is that Meta uses AI stuff, I know some people have been using unvale specifically for OC work though :p
I think for a long time, Twitter was one of the most popular ones here but with a lot of the shift towards AI and algorithm changes, people have started to spread out to others more. I personally like Tumblr still because you can organize your work with tags and there's a central feed, but you can still customize your blog layout with html/css if you'd like.
most mainstream use insta, some people use Pinterest but it is not thaaaat good. Tumblr is good for fandom stuff. But original content is not often seen. DeviantArt and New grounds are kind of one animal in that its less social-media-y, but of the two DeviantArt is better but Newgrounds has strict policies against AI(but, is pretty unpopular and not a common way to share art lol) whereas DeviantArt allows it.
I think some people use toyhouse but ive never had a key so don't know what it's like in terms of absolutely anythinglol
