The Playhouse has been hyping up June 16, the 30th Anniversary of Sammy Sosa's Texas Rangers debut, as the official start date of this website. And it will be, but perhaps fittingly for a Steroid Era affinity site, there will be an asterisk. (continued in the comments)

We ran into some severe technical difficulties at the worst possible time for this project. We could delay it further to another date, but we feel we have more than enough content ready to go for what this site is to open the curtain without going as far as we had hoped on Day 1. We are delaying our formal announcement of SosaPlayhouse.cc on The Playhouse Facebook page from 6:09am to 6:09pm.

That does not mean that we will wait until 6:09pm to connect our content to the main page that people can actually access without cryptically digging through our NeoCities activity. All throughout the day, we will be sew everything to the home page for all to see, but it will be a work in progress until 6:09pm when we have everything we want up.

If you're the kind of person who wants to watch the creation process in real time, with all the kinks it brings in real time, you're more than welcome to follow along and we're putting everything out there for you to see.

I'm a big fan of Peewee.

Pee-Wee's Playhouse is indeed awesome, though it admitately has very little to do with our Playhouse aside from the theme.

I should have used Ms. Yvonne as the mascot of my silly wacky site. I don't know what your thoughts about retro supermodels are, because I chose Suzanne Somers as mascot for the silly site, although singer/songwriter Suzanne Vega is who influenced it in the audio multimedia category.
