the things I'm beginning to want from my site are increasing and increasing in scope, pushing me to want to learn things like server-side coding and a site that I can dynamically and easily update...... which might be too big for neocities... obv I'll stay here for a while and maybe even begin building that as a parallel project
I never used last.fm but having a log of music I love that I can readily update without issues in a way that looks elegant, and a similar replacement for letterboxd would be incredible for me. sadly it might be a bit too ambitious to do at least solely on neocities, so I might need to put together a separate situation that it can pull from
I can already envision how far this sort of thing could scale up to make an incredibly convenient bespoke set of tools for myself and in an instant I am blinded by an angel of anti-computer touching retribution reaching down from the heavens to pluck out my eyes that I may not stray down this path
You can do it with JavaScript and maybe JSON! You'd still have to update the files whenever adding a new entry and it might not be as friendly as a platform like Letterboxd, but it might work.
