hey i saw your post about flins and had a question! So my friend is doing a flins week that I am also participating in. Anyways I was hoping you had some recommendations of stories or folk lore I could look into to maybe inspire me to make something?

Sorry this is random, but I checked your blog yesterday and learned that Gojo is Not the protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen. I. I thought he was. I haven't seen the anime but he's the one I've seen an heard the most of π Anyway I had really cool shounen anime dreams and I think it's because I checked your blog last night haha!

Help;;; I copied everything as is from this: https://codepen.io/jinsouls/pen/WNYRogj and only changed colors, widht and border style. It worked on that site when I tried it, but when I put the code on my site, the controls don't show up... π₯

ah fuck i pressed enter too early. you can skip importing the brands icons that's shown in the codeblock on there (unless you wanna use something like... the tumblr icon i guess)

eyyy happy to see it works now! will note i'm not sure why the font awesome kit didn't work, because it looks like it's supposed to substitute the "linking font awesome as a stylesheet" thing. maybe because neocities got stricter with loading cross site scripts during 2024? not entirely sure (both on the idea and what it fully entails), but i thought it'd be good to mention it..

@overthinkingrat Oooohh yes! YEESS!! I was just thinking yesterday that I wish I could have a better music player on the page than the Spotify one. For many reasons but for one it has decided it doesn't want to fit into the slot I made for it π Thank you so much!! I'll check this out! :D

Mmhh so many things I'd like to work on on my site, but I've fallen into the pit of overwhelm. Dunno where to start, even if the changes or additions I want to make aren't all that big, there's still many of them, and it feels intimidating. So. Naturally, I don't do anything π

Heyo! Hehee, you have come to the right person *rubs hands* The first thing that you could check out is the slavic folk creature/deity Flins. It's probably the primary thing he's based on. Other thing you could check out is different norse mythologies regarding will-o-wisps. I don't know how much you know about him and I don't want to spoil anything even with speculation, but those are very closely tied to him! :3
Some other things that come to mind are different creatures rumored to roam graveyards.
