Pink was originally considered a masculine color because it's a lighter version of red, which was associated with Ares/Mars. Before World War II, AMAB babies wore pink and AFAB babies wore blue, a color associated with Aphrodite/Venus.

I understand the sentiment, I really do, but Syrian hamsters are solitary in nature. If these were dwarf hamsters, then I would keep a pair of siblings.
