LINK will always be canon and I don't care what anyone says. Just because you didn't comprehend it doesn't make it bad. It was just a boring game to play. MAMA had the right idea, just in the wrong package.
Yeah I got you nw Luckily it feels like more ppl have finally actually played it for themselves instead of just repeating the same crap from some old review that thought it actually had time travel. It had some repetitive gameplay for sure but if you like character interactions (which is most of this franchise anyway) I don't think it's boring at all personally
Great story IMO, the gameplay loop was just too repetitive for me. I never played GU, but at least IMOQ has some variance on how you address problems. LINK as just: Smash circle, cross ren, win. Rinse, repeat. Then again: I respect Guilty Dragon canon too, so. I'm currently playing fragment.
Yeah IMOQ definitely has the best gameplay, you actually have to use strategy with your equipment and tolerances. It also had the best enviro variance because of the way it used assets. I think GU and Link both suffer from the same kinds of repetition problems, and in general the games are kind of hand-holdy from R:2 onwards. Last Recode suffered a lot from how they nerfed it, and it was already really easy.
Oh and thank you for 100k views! :-) I want to do a kiriban eventually but I haven't had the headspace. Maybe I'll draw something celebratory for myself this time.
I keep running into this problem that because I recode each page to get a better feel for things and each page gets more efficient, my older pages all need to be overhauled because my organization doesn't match anymore and things break lol

'You' as in the fanbase, not you in specific: Sorry
