yay thx <3 yea being a librarian was really fun, i worked at my uni library first as a part-time job while i was studying and then i was full time for a year before i moved abroad :~) would love to work with books again someday. but nah no specialty, did you?

worked a few months at the japanese section of my uni library, got to translate a bunch of summaries cause we received a lot of books from a retired teacher and i was the only one reading japanese in the department, this was super interesting. then i specialized in comics/manga in a public library, kind of my dream job tbh i loved it so much

righttt like if i have to work somewhere let it be where people come to hang out and read books and use resources for free

yesss exactly!!! like allowing people to broaden their literature horizons for free (and so much more than literature actually, libraries do such important work in social equality), how cooler than that can a job be???

idk why i felt compelled to make my first shrine be for a film i havent seen in like 3 years but it somehow felt right. graphic design is not my passion and also i thought grids were specifically supposed to be good for size responsiveness but this just looks like a mess in any other size than my own laptop

lol i was also excited about it being a way for ppl to interact but nobody wants to talk to me about books apparently :( im glad u enjoyed your tea!! definitely recommend infinite jest but in like a "this is a Journey unlike anything else u will encounter" way rather than a "fun and nice read" way lol

yess most people on this site are a bit shy with interactions, that's how it seems to me at least... i've started picking books from my mutuals' libraries so that i can spark conversations with them but there are so many i wanna read i don't even know where to begin i'm a bit overwhelmed haha, and infinite jest is one of my wife's favorites i know her tastes it's probably not gonna be a fun little walk lmao

i love reading what you write, thank you for sharing with us. i had no idea about the measures taken in malta, stuff like this make me believe it is indeed possible to progress towards a somewhat better future (sometimes it's easier to turn to despair regarding those matters and how they're portrayed in the media but it's important to hang onto those glimpses of hope to continue the fight i think)

aahh thank you guys that means a lot <3 i've gone through all the archives i could find for now but i'm always working on new stuff :-) just takes me some time to feel ready to publish them lol
first two albums pages r up with a new and (hopefully) improved layout
placing the shortest guy at the bottom of the album cover is frying me lmaoo. it's really cool to read about the process behind how they made the cover though!
they r so silly sometimes...
