Looking at my analytics from fc2 counter and google analytics it's almost comical how the neocities view count is inflated with bots and crawlers lol.

i've been wondering for so long why the neocities view count is so high compared to other platforms. this has answered it for me
yeeah comparing the numbers I'm almost entirely positive they count web crawlers and such the same as people, I can't figure out many other reasons it's so different. (why tho??? it's a big number but it's entirely meaningless lol)
