Thursday May 11, 2023. Four unneeded photographs expunged in Chapter 1, "The Shipyard." Some more brightening/darkening affecting 7 photographs.
Wednesday May 10, 2023. SECOND UPLOAD TODAY. Another batch of fifty-one photographs brightened up. Some look like new. Two unneeded photographs expunged.

Wednesday May 10, 2023. A batch of thirty-one photographs reduced to make text more prominent on a standard 1366 x 768 pixels laptop screen. Brightening lackluster ones as well.
Tuesday May 9, 2023. New hyperlinked photograph of Bazan firefighters' shoulder patch (news of October 5, 1963) and a photograph showing the title page of the must-have technical handbook in Bazan-Ferrol. Also I have reduced some old photos in size and brightened others.

Monday May 8, 2023. I have thoroughly redone the final paragraph of Chapter 17, "Departure and Hindsight." Call it Part VII. I have also uploaded hyperlinked photos of the Chamorro icon (Chapter 3) and of four Ferrolian movie houses (Chapter 20 and throughout).
