Working on the Christmas Special chapter at the moment. Just noticed that Ian from Forgotten Weapons did a black powder special for the Berdan II rifle this morning, which I planned to featured in my Christmas special.

It is cute. Where do you get these voices?
ElevenLabs. The V2 voices are more experssive and support mutliple languages. I would love to use real voices sometime. Maybe for some kind of audiobook whenever I finish the story in full.
I don't know but I really do feel like Mai's and Hikari's voice are spot on to what I think they should sound like. Everyone else is so-so.
I'm trying out ElevenLabs for the first time rn. It's insaaaane how many credits you use for one minute of generation, but am I wrong or does voice-changing not cost credits? Because that'd be reallyyyyy cool. A paragraph I did changing my own voice came out as good or better than the voice generator.
Yeah. It's expensive. I usually have to wait a month for the credits to restart before I can do additional voices. I don't subscribe for that reason alone.
