You should definitely go to the gym and make a habit out of it! It's very important to go gain some muscle because it gives you extra energy and confidence, but you gotta consume protein to maintain the extra muscle. Drink enough water too. In my experience, I wish I focused on strengthen my lower and upper back more in the early beginning. You'll need a strong back and good form when you lift heavier weights.
