I love those figures way too much! And yes I would highly recommend the book. While I feel it lacks the wonder that the movie has it more than makes up for it with a uniquly darker tone, more fun dino encounters and a story and characters that feel familiar but are different enough to offer a lot of surprises even if you know the movie by heart. The second one is great too and even more different.
