I'm aromantic!!!!!! :))))) It's very cool to hear yu may be too!! other aros are rare to come by. Also aros can definitely get crushes at times! It's not like "hmm if you've ever been in love you can Never be aromantic...." it's a complicated thing that can be experienced in a lot of different ways

Well I sort of suspected it for a while in secondary school bc I'd never had any crushes before and I already was identifying as asexual, but then my friend asked me out and I was suddenly into him, so I put that idea away thinking I must just be really selective or something? Then a while after we broke up and went back to being friends I was talking to him about it and he said it did definitely sound like I was---

He knows a lot more about the queer community than I do and brought up being recipromantic, which is a microlabel under the aro umbrella (basically meant to describe more specific ways of experiencing attraction) that sounded a lot like me.
