i personally think its never up to an individual to decide what is good and bad. it should be a collective process. my mom told me that some people "need to be told what to do" to feel at ease in their life, but this same mentality leads to narcissistic cult leaders that ultimately do the world more harm than good. if it were up to me, humans would be a hive mind
I'm really glad for the folks here making sites. After slowing down and browsing around, my re-anchored attention span is way more sensitive to the psychic exhaustion caused by social media, even from folks I feel like I enjoy following. I just spent time engrossed in wikipedia, and I forgot how engaging that can be when my brain isn't expecting every single second to be filled with maximal stimuli.
